Terms and Conditions
ESTIMATES – cannot be guaranteed until after a visual consultation has been done of the house or household. As every move is difficult, there is no way for us to accurately estimate the costs without looking at the space. Flat rates are only applicable to long distance moves.
COSTS – are decided based on the information provided by the customer. Stairs, elevators, distance from the place where the truck is parked to the entrance, driving time, etc. all change the price of the service.Our rates include tape, stretch wrap, blankets & wardrobe boxes, as well as assembly & disassembly of necessary items. Boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap are not included.
MINIMUM SERVICE – on Sunday to Friday is three (3) hours, and is four (4) hours on a Saturday. Palm Springs area is four (4) hours all the time. We cannot guarantee that your move will be completed in three (3) hours or 4 (four) hours.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT – To make a reservation, we require a non-refundable deposit of $50 which is charged by credit card payment and will be deducted from the final bill at the end of your move. A reservation confirmation is sent only after the $50 reservation deposit is collected. We appreciate and respect our customers, however, we are compelled to take such precaution against unexpected cancellations.
DOUBLE DRIVING TIME CHARGES – Note, that if the driving time between your pick up and drop-off locations is greater than 15 minutes, we will double the travel time between these points (e.g. if it takes 15 minutes to get to your new place, we will charge you for 30 minutes of driving). It is a standard fee regulated by California Public Utilities Commission. Double-drive time is not included in the minimum hours requirement.
* We cannot guarantee that all of your items will fit in one truck during one trip.
** Extra wall and floor protection are customer's responsibility.
*** The carrier is not liable for any damage detected by the customer after the contract has been signed. The carrier's maximum liability for loss and damage shall be an amount equal to a maximum value of $0.60 per pound per item. This coverage is provided at No Additional Cost.
